Abstract

The waste problem in Indonesia is something very serious. Waste is very undesirable or unwanted by everyone. Especially if the garbage has accumulated for a long time and is not collected, of course, it will have a bad impact on the surrounding environment. In Matawai Village, East Sumba Regency, this is a problem where there is often a neglect of waste transportation at TPS or in residents' homes, this makes the waste more abundant and mountainous, which causes a scene that reduces the aesthetic value of the environment around Matawai Village. The absence of a clear schedule in the transportation of waste and the transportation of waste is carried out based on estimates not based on the presence and absence of waste, resulting in not all waste being collected and there is a waste of fuel because it has to surround all areas of the Village, so it is necessary to design an Android-Based Waste Transportation Service Application in Matawai Village to support the community and cleaners to participate in the waste transportation process. This application was developed with the Java programming language in Android Studio and Mysql. The method used in this study is the Waterfall development method.
