Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of broiler chicken maintenance management at PT. Mitra Sinar Jaya (MSJ) in Nagekeo Regency. The research was conducted from December 2023 to February 2024 using a case study method with primary data collection through observation and interviews, as well as secondary data from literature and official reports. Data analysis was performed using descriptive qualitative methods, while FCR was calculated as the ratio between feed consumption and broiler weight gain. The results showed that maintenance management, including planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising, was well implemented. Broiler chicken growth reached an average of 2.6 kg per bird in the fifth week. It is recommended that air quality and ammonia accumulation in the coop be monitored regularly, maintenance standards be applied consistently, and additional training be provided to plasma farmers to increase productivity and reduce chicken mortality.
