The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying different types of livestock manure bokashi fertilizer on the growth of alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) during the first defoliation. The research was conducted for 60 days on the forage cultivation field, Laboratory Field, Wira Wacana Christian University, Sumba. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four treatments and four replications, consisting of P0 (no bokashi fertilizer/control), P1 (chicken manure bokashi at a dose of 35 tons/ha), P2 (goat manure bokashi at a dose of 35 tons/ha), and P3 (cattle manure bokashi at a dose of 35 tons/ha). The observed variables included plant height, stem circumference, number of leaves, and leaf width. The results showed that the application of goat manure bokashi fertilizer had a significant effect (p < 0.05) on plant height, stem circumference, number of leaves, and leaf width.
