Pengaruh Pemberian Bokashi Feses Ternak Berbeda Terhadap Produksi Bahan Segar, Kandungan Proksimat, Kecernaan in Vitro Alfalfa (Medicago Sativa L.)

This study aims to evaluate the Effect of Different Bokashi Livestock Feces on Fresh
Material Production, Proximate Content, In Vitro Digestibility of Alfalfa (Medicago sativa
L.). The study was conducted at the Field Laboratory of Wira Wacana Christian University,
Sumba from June to September 2025. The design used was a Randomized Block Design
(RAK) with four treatments and four replications, namely P0 (without bokashi
fertilizer/control), P1 (bokashi chicken feces), P2 (bokashi goat feces), and P3 (bokashi cow
feces), with a fertilizer dose of 35 tons/ha. The parameters observed included fresh material
production, proximate content, and in vitro digestibility of dry matter (KCBK) and organic
matter (KCBO). Fresh material production data were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan's
further test. The results showed that the provision of bokashi fertilizer had a significant effect
(p<0.05) on fresh material production, with the highest value obtained in the chicken feces
bokashi treatment (P1) of 2731.25±780.45g/plot. Cow feces bokashi (P3) of
1267.50±225.88g/plot. And in the goat feces bokashi treatment (P2) of 1176.25±296.91.
While the proximate content and digestibility data were analyzed descriptively and the best
proximate content was shown by the cow feces bokashi treatment (P3) which produced the
highest crude protein and crude fat and low crude fiber. The highest in vitro digestibility of
dry matter and organic matter was obtained in the goat feces bokashi treatment (P2) of Kcbk
79.066% and Kcbo 76.725%. Thus, the use of different livestock feces bokashi fertilizers can
increase the productivity and nutritional quality of alfalfa, with varying responses depending
on the type of livestock feces used, it can be concluded that the application of chicken feces
bokashi fertilizer at a dose of 35 tons / ha on land greatly increases and accelerates the growth
of high fresh material production, namely P1 as much as 2,731.25 grams / plot, the highest
proximate content varies, namely Dry matter, (P0) 91.25%, Ash, (P1) 10.75%, Organic matter
(P2) 89.94%, Crude protein (P2) 15.56%, crude fat (P2) 5.37%, and crude fiber (P0) 12.16%,
CHO (P0) 71.89, BETN (P1) 59.95, Gross Energy (P2) 17.54, and In Vitro digestibility is
higher with the administration of goat feces bokashi (P2) KcBK digestibility 79,066 and
KcBO76,725.
