Analisis Pertumbuhan Watar Hammu Kiku Mbimbi Umur 100 Hari Mengunakan Pupuk Paniwang Dengan Level Yang Berbeda

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the growth of local sorghum plants, watar hammu, kiku mbimbi variety, at 100 days old with the provision of paniwang fertilizer at different levels. This study was conducted at the Field Laboratory of Wira Wacana Christian University, Sumba from March to June 2024. The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications where each replication had 15 planting holes so that there were 300 experimental units. The treatments given were p0 (control), p1 (10 tons/ha), p2 (20 tons/ha), p3 (30 tons/ha), p4 (40 tons/ha). The observed variables included plant height, stem diameter and number of leaves. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with the Duncan test at a 95% confidence level. The results of the study showed that paniwang bokashi had a significant effect (p<0.05) on the growth of local sorghum plants, watar hammu, kiku mbimbi variety. The highest plant height of p4 (40 tons/ha) was 180.67 cm in the 14th week, while the largest stem diameter was also found in p4, namely 21,338 mm. The highest number of leaves was obtained in the p4 treatment, namely 10,575 strands in the 12th week but decreased in the 14th week due to entering the generative phase. Increasing the fertilizer dose increases the availability of nutrients so that it supports the physiological process and growth of local sorghum plants, watar hammu, kiku mbimbi variety optimally. Thus, the use of bokashi paniwang fertilizer at a dose of 40 tons/ha can increase the growth of local sorghum watar hammu, kiku mbimbi variety in dry land.
